Liliian is the first student to complete the CDR Kentucky Bluegrass Award Reading Challenge. The challenge is designed to promote quality literature and recreational reading. Students who participate in the challenge are given the opportunity to vote for their favorite to determine the winner of the award. In addition, Lillian will receive a prize and an invitation to a pizza party for those meeting the challenge. Congratulations, Lillian!

Mrs. Lanigan's second grade class at CDR discussed states of matter this week! The students connected last week's Dr. Seuss reading to this week's science activity by making Oobleck using cornstarch and water! After, they wrote about their findings in their science journal!




Congratulations to Annabelle Bastin for winning the AARP Grandparent of the Year Essay contest. Not only was Annabelle a school and county winner- but she also competed against NINE counties in the AARP district and won District Winner as well! Congratulations Annabelle!

Ms. Gorley's 1st Graders at CDR were eager to participate in their discussion about verbs- with a little help from Vicky Verb!


The 3rd Grade at CDR made an "American Quilt" to hang in the hallway! Each student chose a symbol to represent America, and their symbols were combined together in the 3rd Grade hall! Students chose symbols like the flag, the Statue of Liberty, the White House, etc. Swipe to see the final result!




We love hands-on math fun!👍👏 Mrs. Summers 3rd Grade class at CDR used playdough to make fractions by partitioning the whole into equal parts and writing in numerical form on their whiteboards!
