Garrard County High School proudly celebrated its 2025 Homecoming festivities with the crowning of this year’s Homecoming Queen, Ms. Kara Staats. Kara is the daughter of April Adams, Carrol Adams, Kevin Staats, and Kim Staats, and was escorted by her stepfather, Carrol Adams.
Kara, a senior at Garrard County High School, is actively involved in several school programs and organizations. She is a dedicated member of the Marching Band Color Guard, Teens Against Tobacco Use (TATU), and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). As part of GCHS’s nursing pathway, Kara has already earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and plans to continue her education in the nursing field after graduation.

Abagail Bailey, Skye Board, Amya Denny Johnson, and Jerrica Mullins, Senior Queen Candidates
All attendants and candidates were selected by their classmates to represent their grade level as part of this year’s Homecoming tradition.
