FRYSC

February 9–13, 2026 marks FRYSC Week across Kentucky, as we celebrate 35 years of Family Resource and Youth Services Centers serving students and families throughout the Commonwealth.

With more than 900 centers statewide, FRYSC Coordinators have remained committed to one mission since 1991: doing whatever it takes to help students succeed. Their work builds meaningful connections between schools, homes, and communities, ensuring students have the support they need to thrive both academically and personally.

Here in Garrard County, our FRYSC team — Kim Dailey, Angie Brooks, Angie Wagoner, Hannah Davis, Trinna Banta, and Endia Harvey — makes a difference every single day. From Shop with a Cop and Back to School Shoe Shop to Grandparents Bingo, hygiene lessons for elementary students, Kindergarten Readiness support, community health fairs, partnerships with Operation UNITE, and meeting individual student needs, their impact reaches far beyond the classroom.

We are proud to celebrate 35 years of life-changing work and incredibly grateful for our FRYSC team and the difference they continue to make in Garrard County Schools.
