Congratulations to GCS Staff Member, Mrs. Ruby Lear, for being recognized as the Garrard County Schools Support Staff Member of the Month sponsored by Danville Office Equipment!
Mrs. Lear is the cafeteria manager at Lancaster Elementary. She has worked for the district for 16 years! She plays a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our students each and every day. This happens through her supervision of the food service operations and the entire kitchen staff. And she runs the entire process like a well-oiled machine. On top of making our nutritious food, Mrs. Lear and her staff are always participating in dress up days, helping with rewards, and doing anything else our students may need. She is simply a joy to work with. Her dedication to the students of Lancaster Elementary is never lacking and we are blessed to have as part of our team.
