The Family Resource & Youth Service Center Staff serve a vital role in Garrard County Schools. These ladies frequently see our students at some of their most vulnerable times. Times when the student and family may not have food, clothes, or shelter. Unfortunately, at times when loss of a family member or even student has occurred. The help and support they provide can literally be life-changing. In addition, while you may find them working in on of the buildings, you might also find them working in the community to secure support for both our students and our staff. They might be securing extra funds to make it possible for a student to attend Prom or for a class to take a field trip that wasnāt expected or budgeted for. They could just as easily be helping organize and implement a family or community night helping deepen and solidify the relationship between school and community. These 6 individuals help make school better for our students and our staff. We are thankful and grateful they change lives every day.
