Tech Center Tuesday is here! Our Garrard Middle School JAG students recently visited the ATC to learn about the different programs that would soon be offered to them. The students learned about the Engineering, Electrical, Auto, Carpentry and Welding programs and were able to tour their shops. Ask your student which program they like best! #techcentertuesday










Students in Ms. Roberts' Spanish I class at GCHS participated in Hispanic Heritage Month by learning about celebrations within the month as well as creating a mini posters about a famous Hispanic or Latino. Their posters were displayed for a Gallery Walk activity, and also to inform the school about some familiar or unfamiliar faces within the Latino and Hispanic heritage. Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15th until October 15th. Check out their work!










Motivation Monday is here and Mrs. Stanley's class at PLE wants to remind you to treat yourself! Our exceptional students are learning valuable functional life skills through Community-Based Instruction (CBI)! CBI is an evidence-based practice that supports the transition from school to adult life. Our students are gaining real-world skills and independence by assisting with the school snack cart. From handling money to practicing social interactions, they're preparing for life beyond the classroom- and offering a sweet treat while learning!👏🍫🍬 #motivationmonday

Another Monday, another Motivation post! Today, our Garrard County High School JAG students and Camp Dick Robinson's 3rd Graders are motivating you to work together!
GCHS JAG members recently started a Pen Pal project, writing letters to each 3rd Grader at CDR. Our 3rd Graders recently received their letters and wrote back to their pen pals!
At the end of the trimester, our JAG students plan on visiting CDR to meet their pen pals, stayed tuned!✍️✉️

Nine acres of the Buckeye School Farm was planted with field corn this year, donated by Southern States of Stanford, KY.
Thank you to Mr. Keith and Kevin Middleton for planting, maintaining, and harvesting our crop!
