Garrard County Schools would like to welcome Mrs. Katie Hammond as the new Youth Services Center Assistant Director! Mrs. Hammond is a Garrard County High School alumni member and recently received her master's in Social Work.
Katie says, "We have recently moved back home after living out of state. I spend most of my free time with my husband Kyle and our two dogs Scout and Sadie! I am really excited to be back in the community I grew up in!”

Garrard County Schools would like to congratulate a few of our GMS and GCHS Gifted and Talented students! Both, our GMS and GCHS Odyssey of the Mind teams will be advancing to the state competition in March at Boyle County High School! The Odyssey of the Mind is a creative problem-solving program that encourages students to think outside of the box.
Congratulations to the GMS Odyssey of the Mind Team, Dalton Isaacs, Grayson Brunelle, Sawyer Sutton, Emorie Martin, Delia Morris, and Austin Seagraves, on advancing to the state competition! This event was the first time these students participated in KY Odyssey at the East Central Regional Tournament at Corbin High School.

Tech Center Tuesday is here! We are featuring our Health Science Program and their recent showcase of skills in Frankfort and Louisville! Students discussed their program and demonstrated program skills for Senators, Representatives and Kentucky School Board Officials! #atcproud

Tech Center Tuesday is here, and we have a fun feature for you! Mr. Taylor's Engineering students used their CAD skills to design a race car, 3D printed their car and then raced to see which design was the fastest! #techcentertuesday #atcproud










Our CDR 3rd Graders and GCHS JAG students have been writing each other letters for months. This morning, our Pen Pals got to meet one another! Today being Random Acts of Kindness Day, our JAG students led a Kindness Activity in class. #cdrproud #gchsproud
