Our Grow Within Our Community Event will showcase the various career pathways, programs, and opportunities available to our students at Garrard County High School. GCHS students will be presenting demonstrations of the skills they have acquired in their pathway classes, and local businesses will be present to demonstrate how these opportunities can positively impact our community.

DISTRICT EVENT ALERT📢
Starting in January, Garrard County High School will begin the scheduling process with our GMS 8th Grade students. To ensure our students and families are well-prepared for this transition, we warmly invite you to our Scheduling Orientation Night on January 8th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Garrard Middle School.
This event aims to provide both our students and families with valuable insights into the world of high school credits and scheduling, KEES money, the trimester grading system, and a preview of pathways offered to students at Garrard County High School and Garrard County Area Technology Center in an interactive way!
Here's what you can expect:
5:00PM-5:30PM Information Session (Auditorium): Discuss with GCHS Principal, Mr. Michael Anderson and School Counselors, Mrs. Kelley Gillum and Mrs. Jessica Woods about the process of scheduling. Learn about the intricacies of high school credits, KEES money, the trimester grading system, with a preview of pathways offered to students at Garrard County High School.
5:30-7:00PM Interactive Pathway/Career Fair (GYM): Engage with various pathways and programs offered at the high school. Understand how these pathways connect to real-world businesses in our community, with opportunities to visit community business tables. Watch live student demonstrations of skills learned in pathway courses, and discuss with students and teachers of pathway programs.
6:30PM-7:00PM- Pick up a grab and go family dinner.
Although this is an event targeted to our 8th Grade students to assist with scheduling, we welcome all students and families interested in learning more about GCHS and the Career Pathways they offer!

Spreading holiday cheer at its finest! 🎶🎄 Students from Mrs. Elleman's class at Garrard Middle School brightened the morning with carols and sweet treats. Thank you for making the day merry and bright!

Spreading holiday cheer!🎄Garrard County High School and Garrard Middle School JAG students brightened the day at Landmark Rehabilitation and Nursing Center by delivering student-made Christmas Cards and a variety of donated fruits to the eighty-seven residents to enjoy. JAG students used their leadership skills to organize the Holiday Fruit Drive and collect the items before visiting Landmark!


'Tis the season to be jolly! From Jingle Bells to You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch, our talented Lancaster Elementary students, from Preschool to 5th Grade, sang and danced, spreading holiday cheer to our audience!🎄🎵










A full night of art and music!🎹🎨🎵Our Garrard Middle School 7th Grade Band, Garrard County High School Concert Band, and our Jazz Band took the stage, delivering an outstanding performance that truly showcased their talent. Garrard County Schools also showcased our amazingly talented art students.











Our exceptional students from Lancaster Elementary and Paint Lick Elementary visited Build-A-Bear last week, making memories that will last! From bus rides and dining out to hands-on interactions with Build-A-Bear staff, our students applied real-world skills learned in class.🧸
