📦🐾 Learning comes to life at LES! 🐾📦

Our 5th grade Leopards have been hard at work combining creativity + math skills in the best way! 🎉

As part of their learning on volume, students designed and built their very own cardboard animals 🐘🦒🐢—thinking through size, space, and structure every step of the way.

Not only did they show off their understanding of math concepts, but they also impressed us with their creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork! 💚

🎡 LES Spring Carnival is Coming! 🎡

Lancaster Elementary is so excited to host our Spring Carnival on Thursday, April 23, and we need YOUR help to make it amazing for our students!

We are looking for local businesses, families, and community members willing to set up a booth or game at the carnival. This is a great way to connect with our students, support our school, and bring lots of smiles and fun to the day! 💚

🍀✨ Happy St. Patrick’s Day from LES Leopards! ✨🍀

We’ve officially been LEPRECHAUN-IFIED at Lancaster Elementary today… and we can’t stop laughing! 😂

If you come by the school, you might just spot a couple of very familiar faces dressed head-to-toe in green, guarding their pots of gold and spreading a little extra luck around our halls! 💚🌈

Our students have LOVED seeing these hilarious surprises and it’s been such a fun way to celebrate together!

Tomorrow we will be celebrating Pi Day in our Pajamas at LES!

Students are invited to wear their favorite pajamas to school as we celebrate the magic of the number π (pi) and have some fun with math.

Teachers may be doing fun Pi Day activities in their classrooms while learning about circles, numbers, and the amazing math that surrounds us every day!

✨ So grab those cozy PJs and get ready for a fun day of learning tomorrow!

LEO THE LEOPARD!!!

Avery Hensley earned a LEO the Leopard Award today for going above and beyond to help a classmate. When she noticed another student struggling in class, she immediately pulled up a chair and helped them finish their work. We are so proud of her kindness and leadership! 🐆💚

🥧📚 Happy Pi Day from the LES Leopards! 🐆

Since Pi Day (3.14) falls on Saturday, we’re celebrating a day early on Friday at LES!

Students are invited to wear their favorite pajamas to school as we celebrate the magic of numbers and the amazing number π (pi) that helps us understand circles and measurements all around us.

Teachers may choose to do some fun Pi Day activities such as:
🔵 Exploring circles
🔵 Learning about the magic of π
🔵 Math games and challenges
🥧 And maybe even a little pie!

We love finding fun ways to make learning memorable and exciting for our LES Leopards.

🧪🔬 We had lots to celebrate on our Unit 5 Science Assessment in 4th Grade! Our students worked incredibly hard learning about our science standards, and their efforts really showed on this assessment.
