Our students showed grit, determination, and pride in their learning.
Our teachers and staff poured their energy, their talent, and their whole hearts into helping every child grow.
And together, we proved what we’ve always known—Lancaster Elementary is truly one of the best schools in the state of Kentucky.

Lancaster Elementary has earned Blue status for the first time, achieving very high performance with an overall score of 86.1! 🔵👏 Their hard work is paying off with impressive growth:
Math: Novice decreased from 35% to 8% over three years, proficiency increased from 40% to 68%
Reading: In the past year, novice dropped 13% and proficiency rose 10%
Science & Writing: Novice reduced by more than half

🇺🇸💚🤍 Lancaster Elementary Honors Our Heroes 🤍💚🇺🇸 Today, our Lancaster Elementary Leopards proudly celebrate Veterans Day — a day to honor the bravery, service, and sacrifice of all those who have worn our nation’s uniform. This year, we are especially proud to recognize one of our very own: Assistant Principal Mr. Craig Boyd 🐾 Rank: Sergeant First Class 🐾 Branch: U.S. Army (Retired, 20 years) 🐾 Service Years: 1998–2018 🐾 Specialties: Infantry and Civil Affairs 🐾 Stations: Georgia, North Carolina, Italy, Iraq, Hawaii, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Washington, and Cambodia Mr. Boyd’s dedication to his country and now to our students embodies the true spirit of service and leadership. 💚 From all of us at Lancaster Elementary School, thank you, Mr. Boyd — and thank you to every veteran who has served our nation. 🇺🇸 #LancasterLeopards #VeteransDay #ProudToServe #LESPride

Retakes are only for: • students who were absent on the original picture day • students who are new to LES • OR students who bring a parent note requesting a retake We will have Spring Pictures + Class Group Photos closer to Spring Break — more details will come out as we get closer. 💚🐆 #GoLeopards 🤍🐆

Congratulations to these amazing 4th graders!! We are so proud of them for the amazing work they are putting in.

We have joined together with the UK 4-H Extension office to collect food for the Garrard County Food bank! If you would like to donate please bring non-perishable food items to the school office. Let's come together and help our students and community stay fed! 💚

We had an exciting day at LES last Friday!! Thank you to everyone who made it possible!

Next week is our Veterans Day Breakfast. We hope our veterans can join us for a morning of remembrance and honor. If you have a veteran you would like honored please fill out the Google Form. Photos can be submitted even if the veteran is unable to attend or if they have passed. We would love to showcase our Leopard families!
