Even though it's Spring Break, we don't want to forget to celebrate our Awesome Assistant Principal, Mr. William Srsic! Thank you for all you do.
Our 5th graders are back and all headed home...Probably all needing a nap and a shower! :) They had a fantastic time! Enjoy this little video we put together to capture the trip! Our 5th graders left yesterday morning and had an amazing opportunity to spend the night at 4-H camp. They are having a great time! We can't wait to see them this afternoon. It's been awfully quiet around here without them here.

Kelsie is a shining star at LES! She has one of the toughest jobs in the building and she still comes in every single day with a smile on her face. We are so glad she's here with us at LES and part of the Leopard Family!
It's Para-educator Appreciation Week and we are celebrating our Amazing Paras this week!!! Today we want to celebrate Ms. Cheyenne Grow. Ms. Grow is a first year para in Kindergarten here at LES. She has such a talent of connecting with the kids and building relationships with them. We are thankful for her and the work she puts in on a daily basis.

We are so proud of our Leopards!! These kiddos scored PROFICIENT or DISTINGUISHED on their grade level assessments! We are so proud of them and excited to celebrate these victories!! Mrs. Calvert is always available to do anything we ask of her. She loves her students and truly cares about them inside and outside of school. Our exceptional students from Lancaster Elementary and Paint Lick Elementary visited the Little Crooked Creek Safari today. Our students spent the morning getting up close and personal with animals from around the world. From feeding kangaroos to meeting zebras, our students had a wild time exploring and learning!
